The System Full Description
TROGLOPROBE PRO Pipe Cameras are manufactured in the UK, using 30 years of experience and expertise, these are the best solution to inspect wet environments, since the camera head and push cable are IP68 waterproof and the reel, DVR box, and keyboard are all IP67. The system is ideal for plumbing, pipe and duct lines, municipalities, oil rigs, dam inspections, bridge or boat inspections, or any outdoor application in rainy weather. The set includes an extremely durable camera head, along with a stiff, solid push cable, designed to inspect 3" up to 36" areas, up to 298 feet long.
Ruggedness: Full stainless steel construction including a heavy duty front guard plus internal shock-mounting is the starting point of reliability. Fluid-dampened passive auto-correcting removes the unreliability of electronic correcting to level the image, but gives you all the same benefits of a steady, upright image.
The 2.36" T812 pan-and-tilt camera head uses the latest digital electronics to produce a reliable high-resolution picture, with self-centering feature via a one-key press on the keyboard. The T812 range of cameras use high-intensity LED lights. Increased light equals better imaging, and allows the TROGLOPROBE's PRO pipe inspection cameras to operate in larger diameter pipes, up to 12" (300mm) in certain materials. With an optional Digital Lens Measurement feature it utilizes a new way of measuring defects such as crack widths, root penetration and other artefacts while surveying pipe work.
The T800 1.9" diameter (48mm) color camera head is machined from high grade stainless steel, with a 5mm thick sapphire lens over the ¼" CMOS camera chip. This camera chip also features a built-in "Digital Clarity" which refines the live image on the monitor, and an extremely low light sensitivity, better than 0.1 lux. The camera head is IP68 waterproof to 11 bars of pressure (368 ft, 160psi). The self-leveling mechanism inside the camera head, ensures that the image on the monitor is always right side up, is mounted on precision bearings, which are isolated from the outer body using Nitrile shock-absorbers.
The T710 1.0" straight view camera (1.2" total diameter if it is used without the extension rod) utilizes the latest in CMOS sensor and LED technology. This unit can be supplied with a 20M (65 feet) super-flexible extension rod, contained in a coiler cage, which fits inside the base coiler.Or it can be used on the main thicker and stiffer push cable.
Independent Lighting: Misting is one the most frustrating situations for operators. Eradicating this flaw in existing designs was a primary challenge. The solution was the use of two separate sealed chambers within the camera. The camera is therefore hermetically sealed, dehumidified during construction and utilizes heat piped in from the lighting to raise the temperature of the front window. The design has proven to be successful in the field at preventing misting, or fogging of the camera.
The design was simple: produce a system that allows the user to carry on working in all conditions. A camera that does not mist or fog up, one which does not fail, and earns the customer money rather than spending time in the workshop.
The base system consists of a 5.6" high-brightness LCD monitor, high accuracy rod counter, 61M (200ft) specialized rod length and On-Screen-Display. The display unit includes composite video outputs and inputs. It also includes a fully integrated text writer, power cell and digital video recorder. It is fully compatible with Wincam reporting software too.
This pipe inspection camera can be configured to operate vertically or horizontally where access is limited. Control of the rod is achieved with the assistance of a proportional brake which allows fine friction adjustments.
This unit is easily transportable and perfectly balanced to allow the display unit to be folded flat giving access to a sculpted handle. It is designed to be operated in all weather and is fully sealed against water ingression. The frame and coiler is constructed from thick-walled tubing which is powder coated. The mechanical design is modular and has easily replaceable major assemblies for simple servicing.
This fully digital system records directly onto an SD memory card. The SD memory card is solid-state with no moving-parts and is highly robust. The recorder uses the industry-standard MPEG format.
The usual downside to digital recording is the complicated control system, but the TROGLOPROBE PRO pipe inspection camera is easy to use. One touch recording and one touch playback is enhanced by an on-screen display of the remaining recording time. There is no need to worry about humidity, as this unit records in all weather.
Optional accessories, aside from the length of the push cable, include a 512Hz Sonde to allow you to locate the camera head underground (not available for 1" camera head with an extension rod), Digital Lens Measurement software, WiFi module for immediate sharing of photos and video live from the system to the end-customer, or optional rolling skids to center the camera head and help it roll down various pipes.
