This website (www.fiberscope.net) is operated by MEDIT INC and Its subsidiary STRAHL LLC. Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to MEDIT INC and STRAHL LLC. We offer this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing or renting something from us, you engage in our service and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our service. By purchasing or renting products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Warranty Information

All MEDIT Inc products come with a One (1) year limited warranty on all parts and labor, excluding push rods and insertion probes. Most items that require repair should be returned to the MEDIT Inc service center (Winnipeg, Canada). Please be aware that some products will need to be sent directly to the factory for damage inspection/evaluation and repair. If this is the case, expect from 4 up to 8 weeks on average for your repair to be completed.
Used equipment is covered under 90-day parts and labor warranty.
For some products, an extended warranty is available for an additional cost.

Limited Warranty Coverage

Our Limited Warranty consists of a Warranty, which provides one (1) full year of coverage under our manufacturer's standard new product warranty. MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC warrants to the original purchaser of the product herein registered that the product shall function properly for a period of one (1) year from the original date of receipt of the goods under normal and proper usage and according to technical specification limitations. This one (1) year Limited Warranty covers malfunctions resulting from defects in materials or workmanship only. If the product sold by MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC fails to function properly under normal and proper usage due to defects in materials or workmanship during the period of this Limited Warranty, MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC will repair, adjust or replace defective parts as we deem appropriate.
This Limited Warranty is only available to the original purchaser; it is not transferable under any circumstances.

Not Covered

This one (1) year Limited Warranty does not cover damage or malfunctions stemming from other than normal and proper usage. This Limited Warranty also does not cover the following; (a) intentional or accidental misuse or abuse (including, but not limited to, damage to a unit from excessive force), (b) failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions, (c) repairs by any individual or entity other than the MEDIT Inc Repair Center, or a manufacturing facility appointed by MEDIT Inc, (d) product components, accessories or consumables not sold by MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC (e) product tampering, (f) damage from dropping, (g) battery leakage if equipped, (h) media cards. MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC's responsibility under this Limited Warranty is limited to the repair, adjustment, or replacement of defective parts as determined by MEDIT Inc in its sole discretion. Routine cleaning and normal cosmetic wear and tear are not covered under this.

Limitation of Liability

MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC shall have no liability to you for any damages resulting from delays in manufacturing, shipping, or loss of use of the product for service or repair. MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC shall have no liability for general, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of breach of this Limited Warranty. MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC assumes no responsibility for warranties either expressed or implied beyond what is contained here.


All of our products are double-checked prior to shipping to ensure that they are in perfect working order. However, if you receive a product that appears to be defective, please contact our customer service department within one business day of receipt of the shipment at 1-800-239-9934 to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. Please provide a detailed description of the return on the RMA form. The RMA number MUST appear on the box and the RMA form MUST be enclosed with the goods being returned for inspection and exchange. Please note that any exchanges shipped without an RMA will be refused and returned to the sender at their expense.

Return Policy

We accept returns for refund within 14 days of you receiving the item. All returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Any customs brokerage, duties, and transportation charges for the return shipment are to be paid by the customer.
Returns must be re-packaged in original shipping materials. Using other packaging may result in additional charges Returned product must be received in 'Like New' condition. Instruments showing marks, such as scratches, dents, etc., due to usage will have up to 50% deducted from the refund.
Before any items can be shipped back to us, please call 1-800-239-9934 and our team will provide you with a shipping address and an RMA form. YOUR RETURN MAY NOT BE PROCESSED WITHOUT AN RMA FORM.
If you order a Custom Item (it will be reflected in your quote and invoice), please note that these units are created specifically for you, and your application and inspection area. Custom manufactured or specially ordered products, as well as clearance sale equipment, cannot be returned and are considered final sale. If you must cancel your custom order for any reason, before it has been shipped out to you, we will charge you 50% of the item's purchase price to cover trying to find someone to resell the item too.

Refunds & Credits

Once we have received and inspected your item(s), we will credit your account. Please allow 5-7 days for a credit to appear on your account. In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase. If payment was made by check, a refund check will be issued no sooner than 10 business days after the date of purchase. Please note: we can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.

MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise purchased from us. We are responsible for the monetary value of the merchandise only. Also, claims for missing items or items damaged while in transit must be received within one business day of receipt of the shipment.
All estimates provided by MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC in relation to a Delivery Arrangement (date or time), are for planning purposes only and shall not be deemed as a commitment by the customer.
If during the delivery arrangement period it becomes, or should become, apparent to MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC that the delivery of the Goods will not occur within the delivery time(s), MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC will attempt to promptly notify the purchaser in writing of the foreseeable delay, regardless of the cause. MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC will attempt to specify the cause of the delay and estimate a new delivery time(s).
MEDIT Inc / STRAHL LLC is not liable for any damages or loss of profit related to or caused by a delay of delivery.
