What is STORMER X?
STORMER X is a portable, battery-powered CCTV pipe crawler for 6″ to 40″ (DN150–1000) sewer, storm, and culvert inspection, extendable to 80″ (DN2000) with additional lighting.
It combines a steerable crawler and electric camera lift with a Full HD pan-and-tilt camera with 10x optical zoom, precise laser measurement, a groundwater inflow sensor included at no charge, and a self-straightening cable reel. It is made in the EU for North America and sold and supported by FIBERSCOPE.

With a one-way brake, you can adjust the resistance when moving forward and the cable runs without any resistance when going in reverse.

- Code, measure and report from the same tabletEach STORMER pipe crawler comes with a lifetime license for its inspection software, which codes defects in accordance with EN 13508-2, plots the inclination along the length of the pipe, calculates the ovality, and can print either single or batch reports. Results can be exported to GIS in ISYBAU XML format, and a free viewer is available, allowing engineers and clients to open the reports without a license.
The rugged control tablet has physical joysticks and a sunlight-readable screen, and it connects to the reel via Wi-Fi or a cable. Another person can connect and watch the inspection live.

STORMER X detects groundwater entering the pipe as it drives and records the readings with the inspection. The software charts inflow against distance, so your report shows which joints and segments take on water, with the video to back it up.
Add lateral launch to the crawler you already own
The lateral launch module mounts on the STORMER X pipe crawler and works with its reel, so the system you bought for mainline inspection can enter service laterals from the main. It handles mains from 10″ to 48″ and laterals from 4″ to 12″.
