SPARK LED is a new advanced light source for optical borescopes offering excellent illumination and intuitive operation regardless of inspection conditions, due to a specially designed focal lens, one-button/knob control over light output, and portable design. The light handle features a specially designed lens that allows focusing maximum light on the endoscope light post, providing highly intense illumination exactly where you need it. The light handle is available in three modifications.

SPARK LED
Its body is composed of high-grade aluminum with an anodized finish. Thanks to the specialized design heat given off by the LED element is evenly dispersed to the surface. Effectively retaining any heat internally makes the inspection process more comfortable. For power, the basic Spark LED uses 3 standard AAA batteries, which can easily be purchased globally, or in rechargeable form, Ni-MH, Li-ion, or Alkaline, if you want to use it continually.

SPARK XTR LED
The light intensity of the SPARK XTR can be compared to that of stand-alone light sources, which allows to use it even with flexible fiberscopes.Made of high-grade aluminum with an anodized finish, this sturdy light source is also extremely light – only 3.8 oz (105g) with the battery and 3 oz (90g) without it. Its unique design allows for the heat given off by the LED element to disperse evenly on the surface, effectively retaining any heat internally making the inspection process more comfortable. The super bright LED light provides illumination with daylight temperature and, unlike metal halide lamps, has a very long lifespan – up to 50,000 hours. SPARK XTR offers complete one-button control over light output: turning it on and off; smooth light intensity adjustment, which is especially important when used on shiny surfaces to avoid glare; changing the frequency of strobe light. The SPARK XTR light handle runs on a rechargeable 2,000 Ah, 3.6 V Li-ion battery that allows for at least 50 minutes of uninterrupted operation on a full charge. The charger is included in the set. It is compatible with both, rigid and flexible, endoscopes of different manufactures (comes with a standard Storz thread adaptor). A customized SPARK XTR is compatible with flexible Olympus endoscopes.

This handheld light source provides superior LED illumination for rigid and flexible endoscopes, borescopes, for medical and veterinary examination applications. Patent-pending optics collect more light from the LED, for a highly efficient light source. The SPARK PRO light handle replaces fiber-optic light-guide cables or wires common to traditional light sources of the past. Enhanced mobility, ease of use, brightness, and quality of light are achieved with this device.
It uses a powerful, best-in-class LED, cooled by a comfortable, finned handle. An easy-to-grip intensity knob provides precise adjustments of light output and a quick-change battery. Internal circuitry protects against accidental reverse polarity, should the battery be inserted in the wrong orientation, and maintains constant current to the LED as the battery voltage drops with use, for more consistent light output. A long-life LED eliminates lamp replacement and requires no fan, providing a silent and energy-efficient light source that is lightweight, compact, and portable. This light handle can be fully submerged in sterilization solutions (Cidex OPA, Sterrad, Sterris, etc.) if necessary.
