The TRACER X5-1000 Pipeline Inspection Robot is a robotic inspection system for conducting visual inspections in large pipelines, culverts, mainlines and other underground structures. This robotic pipeline camera features high-definition camera, camera elevator, 6 wheel drive, joystick control, and 1000M (3,280ft) of reinforced cable tether on a automatic reel system. This inspection system allows pipeline inspections from 20" and up and is supplied with different wheel sizes to suite better for different diameters.

TRACER X5-1000 Pipeline Inspection Robot is a special long-range inspection camera for conducting visual inspections of pipes from 20" in diameter up to 1,000M (3,280ft) in length. With its pan and tilt camera head that features 10x optical zoom along with 12x digital zoom and an auto/manual focus function, the pipeline robot TRACER X5-1000 delivers high-quality images through the cable to a separate tablet monitor with integrated report-generating software.

The pipeline inspection robot TRACER X5-1000 comes as a set with five main parts: an inspection crawler, camera head, cable reel, display monitor, and joystick.
The crawler tractor comes with a solid body with a 6-wheel drive that is powered by two 150W electric motors. Mounted directly onto the crawler body is the camera riser for centering the camera head in the pipes. A special hook is connected to the body to lower the robot down the utility holes for inspections.
The TRACER X5-1000's pan and tilt camera head allows the operator to look around inside the pipeline and detect details. It has 10x optical and 12x digital zoom, plus the auto/manual focus function. The pan and tilt camera head has 4x LED lights, and six more LED lights are mounted on the camera elevator for additional lighting.
The cable reel features an automatic mechanized reel-out and reel-in system of operation and houses 1,000M(3,280ft) of reinforced cable tether. For tracking the spooled-out cable and to see how far the pipeline robot has driven out, there is a meter counter included in the cable reel that tracks the cable with an accuracy of 1mm.
TRACER X5-1000 inspection system offers a separate display monitor for viewing the images and a joystick control module for controlling the robot. The separate display comes with special software for viewing the live inspection and generating inspection reports. A joystick control module gives the operator the ability to change the direction of the crawler, speed of the drive, as well as lighting, and camera position.
