The iSnake portable plumbing camera is a universal tool that can be widely used for remote visual inspection to save you time, money and inconvenience. Whether you inspect laterals, drains, air or chimney ducts, the iSnake system will deliver. It is easy to operate and one person can use all of the features and functions.

This unit was specially designed to meet contractor's demands for a portable, easy-to-use and economical camera for plumbing to inspect pipelines and ducts. Set up takes seconds, and the iSnake can be used in even the tightest spaces to provide you with the ability to inspect in real time and capture images or video to document your inspections.

Thanks to a new CCD camera chip which features 720x480 (NTSC) pixel resolution, and faster processing, you get a crisp and detailed image on the integrated 7" color monitor. The camera and push rod are completely water/oil proof (IP68).  The camera is placed on flexible spring neck to overcome difficult and curved areas inside pipelines, and if you damage the camera, it is removable so you don't need to replace the entire unit, since the camera head detaches.

The iSnake plumbing camera features easy to use, large ergonomic controls, and an intuitive operation. Its highly portable design has an anti-shock construction, so it can travel with you anywhere.

Files are captured to an SD memory card (included). A video output jack can transfer the live image to a larger TV monitor, to discuss repairs, and troubleshooting on the spot with customers.

The iSnake operates on a Li-Ion rechargeable battery which is good for 4 hours of inspection.

Questions & Answers
do these work for inspecting vertical drain lines inside a house to pinpoint the source of a leak? Can the camera be fed "up" a drain line from a cleanout in the basement (vs. "down" a drain line)

Yes Tracy, you can definitely use this camera to scope vertical drain lines to locate a leaking spot. Feeding up a camera really depends on the pipe size. I would say you should be okay pushing it up in 2" and 3" pipes at about 10-20 feet but if you are scoping a bigger pipe like 4" or bigger the rod may snake a bit and you will have hard time pushing it up. We definitely recommend going from the top down. Please contact our sales team at 800-239-9934 to get a formal quote or if you have further questions. You can also request a free demo.

it says waterproof design of probe, can it be submerged, like in a clogged plumbing pipe

Yes, it can be submersed as the camera is water proof IP68 and it's okay to use it on a common plumbing application when it sometimes can get wet or put in liquid. Our rep. will be contacting you soon.

Can you get extensions to make it extend to up to 100m length?

The standard length of the camera is 20m and maximum length (optional) is 40m, there are no extensions available.
If you need a longer cable, you might want to consider our other cameras, such as Triton, Gecko or Anaconda.

What locater do i use with this product for pool plumbing? Will this work in 90degree pipe for 1.5" underground pool plumbing?

You can use iSnake with a locator if you choose a camera head with 512Hz sonde for the set.
The system would work for a 90 degree 1,5'' pipe with 0.67" camera head attached.
You would need our other product, DrainScope, if you need to make more than one bent in 1.5" pipe.
