The Xtreme LED light handle is a convenient, easy to use, alternative to bulky halogen or metal halide light sources. It even works great with longer fiberscope due to the high intensity LED which provides 50,000 Lux of illumination.
This LED features a long life span of the bulb, capable of working continuously for 1,000,000 hours, provided you change or recharge the battery. Since the LED features low sensitivity, it can be switched on and off rapidly, which is a weak point for halogen and metal halide bulbs.
Powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery, the Xtreme LED weighs only 90 grams with the battery, so it is quite compact and portable. On a full charge the battery will provide up to 45 minutes of use at maximum illumination. Recharging the battery takes 2 hours and can be done with the included charger or an optional car charger.
Light intensity is controlled through a dial on the handle, to smoothly adjust the illumination, and this unit is rated IPX7 for protection against water and cleaning solutions, allowing you to fully submerge it.
Available with Storz thread adapter, as well.
