    Your question:
    • The most affordable and versatile video borescope for basic visual inspections.
    • The 5.5mm (0.22”) or 9.5mm (0.37”) diameter probes feature a flex and stay, semi-obedient design, which will hold a bend or curve until it is physically bent back.
    • These interchangeable probes have three lengths available to access a variety of inspection areas.
    • Each probe features a CMOS Video Camera chip in the tip, which produces a live image displayed on the portable 3.5” LCD Monitor. JPEG images, and AVI videos are captured in 720 x 480 pixels and video is recorded at 30 frames per second, with a defined focal range of 20mm (0.8”) to 280mm (11”).
    • The portable monitor has an ergonomic design, with an adjustable screen which stands up or lays flat against the handle. The handle, which strands straight out, can also be positioned down 90 degrees, to complete inspections at different angles.
    • Additional features include a 2 GB SD memory card for file capture, a USB port to transfer captured files to a computer or laptop, video output to export the live image to a larger TV, a microphone to record audio from inspection, and power supplied by 4 AA batteries, which last up to 3 hours for portable use.
    • A set of tips is also included with each set, including a mirror tip, hook, pin and magnet (9.5mm (0.44”) diameter probes only).5.5mm probes has optional 90 degree mirror tip(not included, can be purchased separately).

I had borrowed scopes before! I use it to look into the cylinder bores on race engines to check for piston / bore damage, saves taking the engine a part to check. I also use it after draining the oil in race engines, to check for signs of premature wear of the crank. Also looking inside gear boxes and differentials. Really any mechanical part that is normally removed for visual checking, many can be visually checked with the scope.

At the moment the Provision is the usual make that is used by the initiated but quite frankly I have used the 30cm and the 91cm models and they are not a patch on yours. The recommended one for bat survey work is 91cm and 11mm diameter. It is over priced, not as flexible, picture quality not as bright and just awkward to use.

No complaints. The scope works great. We manufacture aircraft engine parts and it\'s nice to have a small flexible scope to get into small holes with cavities. Sales and shipping service was excellent. If we are in the need for more optical scopes we…

We were very pleased with the service we received from your company. We received the fiberscope within a couple of days of ordering. The fiberscope is a great value. We have a couple of high cost borescopes that breakdown frequently and are currently not working. We purchased the Medit borescope because we needed a borescope quickly and the cost was considerably less than the repairs of our other scopes. The Medit borescope because of its small size is more convenient to use than our expensive scopes and provides more than adequate video and still pictures.
