Medit Inc.'s Wireless Video Borescope Systems (WVBS) provide ease of use in a portable handheld videoscope that can be used without the inconvenience of cables. Inspect equipment and installations in a wide variety of industrial settings, and enjoy the ability to place the monitor in a convenient location and proceed , or connect the unit with the handheld monitor for detailed work in tight spaces. You can even wirelessly transfer of images or video to the monitor or a television from up to 50 meters away.
These borescopes feature a narrow 5.5mm (0.22") probe diameter, with a small CMOS Video Camera chip located directly in the tip. The insertion tube also houses 4 LED lights which illuminate the inspection area, with an intensity control knob to decrease the illumination in case of reflection off metal parts. A quality metal sleeve provides increased tip protection, even at higher temperatures. Three mirror tips are included as part of this set, and a variety of probe lengths are available.
The wireless monitor features a 3.5” LCD screen, with 325x 250 pixel resolution, and operates wirelessly at 2.4GHz. Images are captured in 640x480 pixel resolution, and video at approximately 30 fps to an included 1GB SD memory card, or export the live image via video output.
