The Photon Video Borescopes is one of the few videoscopes that features 2-way tip articulation of the video probe, as well as a 2.4Ghz Wireless signal to separate the probe from the monitor for tight inspection areas, or place the monitor in a more convenient location. To avoid interference between simultaneously working units you can choose from one of four available wireless channels.
It features a narrow 6.0mm diameter vinyl coated insertion probe with a stainless steel braided tip. The small CMOS video camera chip is located directly in the tip, and the video probes can be used remotely, or connected directly to the monitor, to form one solid unit.
The monitor provides a clear color image of the inspection area, with the ability to easily capture images and video to an SD memory card. Illumination is provided by 4 LED lights located directly in the tip, with an intensity control dial built into the hand piece to control the illumination for reflective surfaces, and assist with a wide variety of inspection areas.
The video probes feature 2-way tip articulation, 150 degree in each direction, controlled by a dial on the hand piece. There is also a lock to fix the position of the tip.
Live images are displayed on the 3.5” LCD monitor, in 325x 250 pixel resolution, one touch image and video capture buttons are located on the unit as well. Images and video are saved to the 1GB SD memory card, in 640x480 pixel resolution.
A USB port on the monitor can be used to transfer captured files to a computer or to recharge the Li-polymer battery. AV output can be used to transfer the live image to a larger TV monitor.
On a full charge the Photon video borescope can operate for up to 4 hours.
