Micro borescope or thin fiber optic borescope is used to examine inside the smallest bores, tubes, accesses on a variety of castings, machined parts, turbine blades, vanes and other manufacture components where the strictest quality control is essential. Flexible Micro borescopes view into these tight spaces to look for debris, burrs, cracking, corrosion, blockage and a variety of other defects. Micro fiber optic camera can be attached to document an inspection process.
The new flexible micro borescope is capable of the highest resolution images possible. These super thin flexible borescopes contain the most advanced quartz image bundles. The quartz image bundles allows for super high resolution in the small diameter scopes. The number of pixels of the new flexible fiber optic micro borescope can be as high as 30,000 depending on the diameter.
