Shipping & Delivery

General Terms

The shipping costs are dependent on the destination, value and dimensions of the package (size and weight). Medit Inc. Customer Service representatives are able to prepare a shipping quote for your location. Customers are welcome to use their accounts with any major shipping carrier of their choice (such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, Purolator). Medit Inc. always strives to ensure our customers get the best shipping rate when ordering equipment from us.  If you would like to insure your item(s) against possible theft or damage while in transit, you are welcome to request shipping insurance at your expense. Typically orders are shipped the same day or the following business day if the requested equipment is in stock. Customers are welcome to contact Medit's Customer Service department for a delivery time estimate.  

Medit Inc. will always try to accommodate customers' shipping preferences whenever possible. 

A customer is responsible for any customs fees, duties and charges. Medit Inc. ships via courier services only and someone should be available to receive and sign for the package when it arrives.

 

Shipping Time Calculation

Shipping days do not include weekends or holidays.
Allow at least 1-2 extra days for shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and outlying island territories (USA), as well as Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut (Canada).
Shipments to more than one address require separate shipping and handling charges for each address.
Overnight orders placed after 3:00 PM Central Time will ship the following business day.

You can calculate your estimated shipping costs for any product by clicking on the 'Calculate Shipping' button in the shopping cart area of your order. Simply enter your zip code/postal code or country to receive an estimated shipping cost. You will have the option to upgrade your shipping to a different service during the checkout process.

 

Tracking Your Package

By registering on our site and logging in during each visit, you will be able to access your Order History and Tracking Information. Medit Inc. has linked directly with our shipping partners to provide access to current shipping information on your order. You can also check the status at www.fiberscope.net at the top of the page by clicking the link/button "Check Your Order".

 

Fees and Duties

If you order items from outside of Canada, your shipment will have to clear customs in the destination country. Depending on customs rules and regulations of the destination country, and based on such factors as value and the country of origin, taxes, duties, or fees may be assessed. Medit Inc. does NOT charge you these fees, nor do we collect, deal with, or receive any of them. In most cases Medit Inc. cannot estimate the taxes or duties to be assessed. However, as a reference point, the customs duties are often at least equivalent to the value added tax (VAT) or the sales tax normally charged in your country or territory. 

 

Return Shipping Instructions

This section refers to all goods being returned to Medit Inc. for a refund, exchange, warranty or non-warranty repair.

Before you return any goods, please contact our customer service department at [email protected] or by calling 1-800-239-9934 and request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. Please provide a detailed description for the return on the RMA form. The RMA number MUST appear on the box and the RMA form MUST be enclosed with the goods being returned.

Please note that any returns shipped without an RMA will be refused and returned to sender.

Please declare $20.00 for the customs value. Be aware that if you declare a higher value you will be billed for all taxes and customs duties Medit Inc. has to cover.

Indicate “RETURN of GOODS” in the shipment description field (if available).

Please ship your parcel via FedEx Economy (2nd day) Service, USPS, or Canada Xpresspost.

Please notify Medit Inc. of the tracking number once your return ships.
